Anglo American share price chart
About Anglo American
Anglo American is a London-headquartered global miner founded in Johannesburg in 1917, with a primary listing in London and a secondary listing on the JSE. It has been simplifying around copper, premium iron ore (Kumba in South Africa) and crop nutrients, spinning off Valterra Platinum (formerly Anglo American Platinum) in 2025 and working to exit De Beers and its steelmaking-coal business. In 2025 it agreed an all-share merger with Canada's Teck Resources to form "Anglo Teck"; check the latest SENS announcements for the effect on its JSE listing.
